Color of the Week: Easter Lily (12 photos)

Our featured hue is the soft blush of yellow you see inside the Lilium longiflorum, or Easter lily. The Easter lily is actually a summer-blooming flower, but it is cultivated to bloom early, for Easter, because we associate it with the qualities of spring — rebirth, love, joy and beauty.

Here are a few of my picks for Easter lily–inspired paint colors (left to right): Easter Lily from Benjamin Moore, Golden City from Mythic, Powder Sand from Behr and Roman Column from Sherwin-Williams.
