Make Your Own Revlon Inspired Lip Butter

Lipbalm

It’s expensive being a girl! It’s estimated that the average female will spend around $15,000 on makeup in her lifetime. Excuse me?! Yikes! I don’t even want to know the average estimate on shoes . Lol. A DIY here and there in the beauty department is sure needed! Check out this tutorial for colorful soft lips. It’s inspired by the Revlon color line but not a copycat recipe. These ingredients are different from what you would find in the store bought product but the colors are just as striking.

The main ingredient here is crayons. They are safe and non toxic (that’s good since they are made for kids!). You will also need olive oil (I think I’ll go with coconut), shea butter (SPF protection), vitamin e capsules (for moisture), and food flavoring (optional).

Using Crayons lets you customize your shade. Really customize it. There are 120 Crayola colors. That is a lot of lip butter. If you try this, let me know how it goes and what color you picked! I think a slightly pink salmon color or a light apricot would like nice on me. I lean toward the more nude colors that you can wear every day.
