On the heels of news that Universal Pictures is moving forward with plans to remake the cult classic 1983 film Scarface comes word that the iconic home owned by character Tony Montana (Al Pacino) in the movie just went on the market in real life for a cool $35 million. If the price tag hasn't deterred you, you'll want to know that the four-bedroom, nine-bath estate isn't in Miami, as in the film. It's actually one of the real estate gems of Santa Barbara, CA.
Built by famed architect Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue in 1906, the mansion lives up to its big-screen reputation for opulence. It's filled with artistic details, such as gold-leaf painted ceilings, and elaborate tiling, woodwork, and carvings.
