The overall styling of the 2016 RX has been sharpened and is highlighted by the Lexus spindle grille, a more aggressive front bumper and L-shaped LED headlights. Inside, passengers will be treated to a new panoramic moonroof and rear seat passengers will never get bored thanks to the available 11.6-inch dual screens that can be affixed to the back of the front headrests.
Lexus hasn’t released all the specs for the RX 450h’s hybrid powertrain, but it will mate a 3.5L V6 to an electric motor, while the all-wheel-drive version will get a second electric motor that drives the rear wheels. Instead of revealing its fuel economy specs, Lexus simply states, “all RX engines have been tuned in anticipation of high fuel economy ratings and low carbon emissions.”
