100% recyclable Nepenthes is a manifesto against wasteful plastic packaging

Packaging for cosmetics and healthcare products has become more stylish than ever, but the environmental footprint of product packaging is lagging sorely behind. In protest of wasteful plastic packaging, Italian designer Marilu Valente created Nepenthes, an innovative packaging system made from 100% recyclable and flexible plastic. The durable Nepenthes can be refilled with shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner, or thrown in the recycling bin at the end of its lifecycle.
