Some people may choose an intriguing art book or knickknack to place on their coffee tables as conversation-starters, but with this mind-bending sculpture the coffee table itself is the centerpiece. Inspired by the now-classic movie “Inception,” Stelios Mousarris created a masterpiece featuring a curved wooden city which is quite literally turned on its head.
The Wave City Coffee Table is constructed from wood, steel, and some 3D-printed components. The intricate design is curved into a perfectly balanced “J” shape, suspending part of the inverted cityscape over thin air. When viewed from the side, you could almost picture yourself inside the film’s thrilling, time-warped scene, running alongside the actors.

You could be the proud new owner of a Wave City Coffee Table for about $4300 USD. Collectors may have found the perfect new piece of movie-inspired memorabilia – one that bends the imagination and is otherwise just super-stunning to behold.
