PHCC launches online job service

The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors—National Association announces the launch of its interactive job board, the PHCC Career Center, focused on providing its members — and the plumbing-heating-cooling (p-h-c) industry at large — with an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. The Career Center can be found at http://ift.tt/1o6ELgj.

“With the steadily increasing need for plumbers and HVAC technicians across the United States, we’re confident this Center will help raise awareness of the countless job opportunities in the industry right now and give potential employees easy online access to these attractive opportunities,” said PHCC President Charles “Chip” E. Greene. “Plus, we know how critical it is for employers in the industry to attract first-rate talent. For them, this will become a go-to resource.”

Both members and non-members can use the PHCC Career Center to reach qualified candidates. Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily. They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics.

For job seekers, the PHCC Career Center is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the p-h-c industry. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers also can create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.
