Marin Biogas is using sea ascidians as an AD plant feedstock as an alternative to land-based crops – a process it says can reduce eutrophication and cut greenhouse gas emissions

Lands far and wide have been scoured for renewable energy biofuel feedstocks, with palm oil, corn crops, cheese, chicken litter and even ice cream just a few of the bioenergy sources identified so far....
