Parents of 17 year old Robbie wanted to turn the empty lounge area in their suburban home into the ultimate man cave. Drawing on the youngster’s favorite hobbies, Inhouse Brand’s creative director Aidan Hart and senior designer Jenine Bruce got to work creating a space perfect for the active teen’s lifestyle. The multifunctional room echoes interests in skating, surfing, and socializing.

The most impressive feature is the concrete skate bowl, painstakingly designed to fit perfectly in the space and accompanied by the artwork of local street artist Jack Fox. Keeping with the curvature theme, guests can enjoy a movie underneath a sleek timber wave equipped with surround sound. The space is also set up with a pool table, vintage Spiderman pinball machine, punching bag, and pull-up bar. In between activity, Robbie and his friends can chill out at the bar and admire his most prized possession: his surfboard. The urban man cave is sure to be the best hangout spot in the neighborhood.
